It´s a picture by Fine that they painted at the Caring Arts Lab in Munich after going on Miri´s dream journey. Fine tells:
„I have painted a picture that shows a moment of caring.
It shows a footbath and arms washing legs in this footbath.
The background is white with many thin black lines reminiscent of waves. The picture has a black frame.
With the picture, I wanted to preserve the memories of the feelings from that moment.
I am at home with a friend and she is washing my feet and looking after me. At first I was ashamed because my feet were dirty and I didn’t like them, but then I felt very safe because she was taking care of me. The water is pleasantly lukewarm, the stone she uses to remove the calluses has a rough surface and scratches, but doesn’t hurt. Her hands are soft.
It was a very intimate moment. Maybe that’s why the black round footbath has the profiles of me and my friend on the top and bottom edges. At the time, I had a turquoise hairstyle with bangs. I also painted my lips turquoise. My friend had black hair and bangs at the time. I painted her lips an ultramarine blue color.
I wanted to show our bond through the colors. The water in the footbath changes color. The turquoise from me and the ultramarine blue from my friend run towards each other, spread out and mix in some places. This causes the colors to change their tones. I wanted to show how this connection came about.“
Listen to the audio version of Dream Journey:
I invite you on a dream journey to a place where you feel comfortable. A dream journey is a travel which you go to in your mind. You can read the journey as a text or ask another person to read it to you. You can also listen to the audio. In this audio someone will read the journey to you. It is okay if you want to pause the audio in between and come back later.
For this dream journey you can put yourself in a comfortable position. You can lie on the floor or on your bed, sit up or anything in between. Whatever works best for you to relax and listen to the journey comfortably. (…) Have you found a comfortable position? Then, let’s start with our journey.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Feel the floor beneath you. Try to inhale and exhale calmly. If any thoughts cross your mind, let them pass. If there are noises around you, you can notice them but try to listen to my voice. (…) You find yourself in a room. Imagine that you leave the room that you are in right now. You go through a door and leave your building. Now, you are outside. You walk on the street. The weather is nice and the street is quiet. There are no loud noises and it is safe for you to move forward … and after a while you will reach a meadow. You walk across the meadow and smell the grass. As you go on, you suddenly see a door that looks inviting. You decide to walk through that door and you find yourself in your favorite place. This is a place from your memory. A place where you are safe and feel comfortable. Here your heart and soul can relax and be peaceful. (…) Look around, what can you see? Are there any specific colours in here? What kind of textures do you notice? If you want to touch them, please do! What can you smell? Or what can you taste? Which noises do you hear in this place? You notice all the great things that make you love this place even more. (…) After a while you decide to leave the place and go back to your room. You look around the place one more time and say goodbye for now. You can always come back here, when you want.
You go back to the door, step through it and leave your favorite place. You are now on the meadow again. You walk across the meadow and after a while you enter the street again.
The street is still quiet and calm. You continue to walk. Finally you reach your building where you were before. You go inside and enter the room from the beginning. (…)
Take a deep breath. Slowly return with your focus to the present. Feel your body and move in a comfortable way. Remember your favorite place and then open your eyes. (…)
I now invite you to become creative. You can take paper and pencils and draw the place which you saw in the dream journey. If you don’t want to draw, you can write or find another creative form. Or you can listen to the audio again. On this website you can also take a look at the favorite places of other people. Which one do you like?

It´s a picture by RC that they painted at the Caring Arts Lab in Munich after going on Miri´s dream journey. RC tells:
I drew a lot of white lines on the black paper. On the left is a street in Vien-na. In the centre at the edge of the picture you can see legs, wheelchair armrests and the upper part of the wheelchair wheels. At the top centre is a white text: WIEN 15.09.2023 (it means Vienna the 15th of September).
It’s my first trip in an electric wheelchair, so I was able to be on the road alone.
It was the first time in many years that I was travelling alone without a spe-cific route and was able to discover things.

The avatar is a photo of a purple nail polish with alid. The lid looks like the head of a white rabbit with long ears. It has two black dots as eyes and a small black mouth. The nail polish is on a light pink box.
For me, painting my fingernails means self-care. I take time to calm down and do something for myself to feel prettier. I also love listening to music and getting creative while I paint my nails.
